I was in jail facing a
sentence of at least 10 years in prison when my
mother brought me the book, “Have a Jesus Filled
Day”. She told me I should read it because only
God could help me this time. I read it many times
and studied the principles shared in this book.
Their personal testimonies and these principles
encouraged me to believe that Jesus would help me if
I would turn my life over to Him, believe Him, and
begin living for Him. While I was in jail, I did
just that and I began sharing this book with the
other inmates. I got depressed many times while I
was in jail and God would give me peace and I could
face another day.
One day when one of the other inmates
came back to the cell after facing the judge, he was
sentenced to 10 years in prison. He had the same
charge I had and I became depressed again. The day
he was sentenced was another bad day for me, so I
read the book again and believed God would answer my
prayer. He did answer my prayer. After 91 days in
jail, I appeared before the judge. He dropped all
charges and released me. The inmates in jail with
whom I shared this book asked me to leave the book
with them. I was glad to do just that, knowing if
they will apply the book’s principles, it will
change their lives.

Simple Yet Profound Principles
How do they do
it? They simply follow a daily routine every morning that
invites the Holy Spirit to fill and guide them through the

people, had a very low self esteem, and I was a very
negative person. The Chapmans began to teach me the

and to know how important it is to believe that God
is no respecter of persons. They told me if I would
allow Jesus to fill me each day with His presence, I

changed person. I now know who I am in Christ Jesus,
and I am no longer negative. I share my testimony

Practical Proven Advice
We are not

more than their fair share of hardship in life, financially
and physically.
In their
humble beginnings in life they struggled financially. After

cancer without using the chemotherapy recommended by her
doctor. Roy made a miraculous recovery from a nearly fatal
heart attack. Their oldest son suffered a gunshot wound in a
hunting accident. After much prayer by the family, he
surprised his doctors, who didn’t expect him to live, by
making a full recovery.

I love reading the stories of our Faithful
God in Pastors' Roy and Ann's book. I like to read
“Have a Jesus Filled Day” as a devotional one
chapter a day . Then after I say the Daily
Confession at the end of each chapter, I write it on
an index card for further reference. I give the
cards to my husband to encourage him too. I
appreciate The Pastors' open-ness in sharing what
God has done for them. I know He will do the same
for me. My days are filled with Jesus and everything
that belongs to Him.
